Nagasawa and Grandview Estate Vineyards - Russian River Valley
First planted in 1978 these estate Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay vineyards are 600 feet above the Russian River Valley floor. These two vineyard are unique because of their diverse, fertile rocky soil, southern hillside exposure and use of our state of the art trellising system. Rockpile Vineyard - Rockpile
The unique Rockpile Vineyard is 2000 feet above sea level on the historic Tennessee Bishop Ranch. It is the highest vineyard in the exclusive Rockpile appellation, which is situated between Lake Sonoma and the Pacific Ocean. Meticulously farmed by husband and wife team Rod & Cathy Park, the grapes grown here produce stunning wines with good acidity and wonderful balance. The shallow rocky soil, long sunny days and temperate nights are ideal for cultivating intense, dense, complex Bordeaux varietals.
Paradise Ridge produces its highly rated 'Elevation' Cabernet Sauvignon from this vineyard, along with a vintage based 'Inspirations' proprietary blend.
Rocky Ridge Vineyard - Rockpile
Rocky Ridge vineyard is one of a limited number of vineyards planted in the Rockpile appellation. Owners Chris and Marge Mauritson both grew up in the beautiful farming community of the Dry Creek Valley. Here, at the northern end of the valley, where Rockpile ridge rises out of the valley floor, Chris was raised on a ranch originally settled by his ancestors in the 1800's. In the spring of 2001, Chris & Marge planted 10 acres of Zinfandel on the north end of 140 acres of the original homestead. The first harvest was 2004 and each new harvest is awaited with anticipation to see what Mother Nature and this wonderful terroir will produce. Paradise Ridge's 'The Convict' Zinfandel is created from this superb vineyard.
