About Me

From 2017 to 2020, Jake worked for the Huneeus family on three of their prestigious wineries – Flowers, Faust Haus, and Quintessa.  At Flowers, Jake worked with architects, contractors, and the Huneeus development team at their new hospitality tasting room in Healdsburg, including hiring and staff training and implementing service protocols.  At Quintessa, he and the team built a plan focused on luxury and indulging the guest.  At Faust, he worked closely with ownership to focus the guest experience at this marquis property. Throughout Covid, Jake consulted for three local wineries – Lichen Estate, Medlock Ames, and Hanna. At each of these wineries, Jake helped restructure and elevate the guest experience.

Prior to being in the wine industry, Jake held various roles in operations and business development. He also successfully launched, managed, and sold Flying Goat Coffee, a Sonoma County favorite. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley.

Jake currently lives in Healdsburg with his wife Christine Hanna, where he grows grapes and makes odd furniture.
